Discover the wonders of birds and their habitats!

Migration Marvels              June 3 – 6                                        

Ages 7 & 8                           8:30am-12:30pm Tues. – Thurs.

$75.00                                   8:30am-2:30pm Fri.

Come explore our neighborhood for migrating birds and learn who takes this amazing journey and why.  We’ll learn how high birds fly, what obstacles they encounter and what we need to do to make sure they make it!

 

Special Species                 June 10 – 13                                               

Ages 9 & 10                                    8:30am-12:30pm Tues. – Thurs.

Birds are special in many different ways.  Come explore the lives of the White Pelican, Great Blue Heron, Killdeer and Meadowlark to learn what makes these species unique.

Come discover the raptors that sit on top of the food chain.  We’ll hike to find our local raptors, and learn about the adaptations and behaviors that make them the hunting heroes of the bird world.

 

Winging It!                            June 24 – 27

Birds are the ultimate flying machines!  Come learn how crows and ravens play in the wind and vultures soar silently over open fields.  We’ll look at wings and how they work.

 

Eat Like A Bird                July 8 -11

Do you or someone you know eat like a bird?  What does this really mean?  Come discover how, what and why birds eat what they do.  We’ll even keep a digestion diary!
