Adult Programs

Location:
  • We would love to have you join us for a program at Barr Lake State Park, Brighton, CO or we can come to you!
Program Fee:
  • $20.00 for 1.5 hour program for groups of 20 people or less.
  • $2.00 per participant for each additional hour of programming
  • $6.00 park fee for groups that come to Barr Lake State Park
Duration:
  • 1.5-2 hours
The following programs are offered throughout the year for adult organiations or groups!

Bird Hike

Take a stroll and enjoy the sounds and sights of birds. Learn some tricks on how to identify birds and what species of birds commonly live in the area.

Bird Bites

Not all birds have the same shaped beak. Explore the diversity of beaks and discover which beaks match with bird feeder.

The Beaks Beat

Birds have a variety of calls that they use for many different reasons. Become familiar with bird songs during this program.

Regurgitating Raptors

Learn the important role that birds of prey have in ecosystems, then get your hands dirty while dissecting a raptor pellet.

Bird Bingo

Test your avian knowledge while trying to get “BINGO”! This is a twist on the classic bingo game. Soak up some great bird facts while competing with friends.

Love Birds

Discover what you can do to help birds. Bird conservation and stewardship is a critical step in maintaining the health of our environment. Learn some garden tips to attract birds and take home bird feeders as your first step as a bird conservationaist.
